Butterfly Plant Collection

Asclepias bloom in the hot dry summer months, when little else is in bloom. Loaded with flowers butterflies swarm the plant for delicious nectar. It is the only host plant for Monarch butterflies because it is the only one they will lay their eggs on!

Bold foliage and bright colours blend beautifully into borders. Strong stems make asclepias a great long-lasting cut flower.

• Incarnata - Produces fragrant vanilla scented flowerheads of a heavenly rose-pink.
